As Canadian buyers we found Doug Procter through the Internet and contacted him from home first.  We were very fortunate to have chosen Doug.  He never pushed or tried to steer us in any direction.  He listened to our wishes and did his best to accommodate us. Doug always made time for us that fit our schedule, was very prompt to return calls and emails.  He went over and above in all aspects of what a real estate agent's duties are, even picking us up at the airport, taking us to the car rental place and dropping us off when we went back home.  Doug sent us countless photos and email's and pre checked homes for us ahead of time.  He made many phone calls to Canada to make sure every one of our wishes were met.  After the purchase of our home he still helped with arrangements, helped us with the lawyer, taxied us around and picked up the tab for a locksmith as well.  We would highly recommend Doug to anyone.

Doug paid very close attention to what I told him in regards to the type of property I was looking for and showed me only properties that fit those criteria. He was very professional but friendly and personable. Prompt, returned all my calls and emails in a very a very timely manner. Very importantly he looked out for my best interests above all else. He pointed out things as we were viewing properties that I had not noticed both good and bad. He makes you feel very at ease and has kept in touch after the sale to insure everything was going well. Prior to our first meeting he had continually sent me emails for properties for several months and we had exchanged many emails and phone calls without ever being overbearing. I recently met Doug Procter during a house hunting trip to South Carolina. The non-stop parade of personal and professional courtesies visited upon myself and my family during our entire stay was remarkable. Doug Procter is without a doubt one of the most thoroughly professional men that I have ever met. We visited not less than 70 homes during our trip. Each home was completely profiled ahead of time. My husband and I have been going to the Myrtle Beach area for many years with plans to retire here some day. I highly recommend Doug as a real estate agent. Doug is an absolute professional with an innate ability to realize very quickly, exactly what type of property your searching for, therefore, not wasting any of your time looking at properties that won't meet your personal criteria. He doesn't steer you towards properties that aren't within your budget and also has immense patience. He's not only very knowledgeable with his own listings, but those of other companies outside his own company, which happened to me. Because he knew what I was looking for, he showed me a property listed with another company which I loved! Also, in my case, I had problems with the particular mortgage company I had chosen, and Doug, with his local knowledge, was able to help me secure my mortgage with speed and ease. The attorney's office that I used for my closing indicated that they were so impressed with Doug that they would be recommending him to their clients that needed an agent. I happened on Doug's website by chance. His response was before I left his site, so I began corresponding with him for my move later in the year. The longer we emailed back and forth the more we became friends even though we had not talked or met. When I did find the time to fly down, he picked me up at the airport and spent 5 days looking for my home.
Never once did he pressure me, just the opposite, he encouraged me to look a little more until I was certain I had found the right home. It's great he did because on the fourth day, I fell in love with one that I had no idea we could find that fulfilled all my dreams.
